Great interview with Christopher McDougall on the podcast. I had to go around the block a couple of times prior to entering work just so I wouldn't have to stop listening.
Congratulations on this, your "golden", podcast! As always, I listen to your podcast whilst doing my morning run. As mentioned in the previous comment from "Jay", I was so engaged by your wonderful interview that I did not want to stop running. As a result, I had a fantastic 90 minute run–the best of the summer. Keep up the good work. And I encourage you to do more interviews. You ask great questions.
Brandon — I really enjoyed the interview. I think Christopher McDougall has really tapped into some core truths with Born to Run. Until a couple days ago, I didn't know that he had made the full transition to barefoot running. I'm curious how many VFF runners will eventually give full barefoot running a try.
Great great great episode: you overcame yourself! I must find "Born to run" via Amazon or and "American bookstore" I just saw here in Milan.
About the 100 push-ups: what do you think about the "100 push-ups" site http://hundredpushups.com/ ? I tried two times and I stopped myself about at week 4, but it's my fault: I think the site is good… What is the "benefit" of the book instead of the site? There's the "200 hundred sit-ups" that may be useful for runners/bikers (I totally agree with you about training with push-ups and, I add, with sit-ups).
Glad you like the episode! The site 100pushups.com is the same as the book. the book is just an extension of the site. I think that sometimes people may just find it easier to have a book rather than having to pull up a website every time.
Awesome episode – got me through a full 13.mile run. It was my first time listening to your podcast (found through Twitter), and as a big fan of "Born to Run," I loved the interview with Chris McDougall. I'll have to check out some of your earlier episodes.
Great episode B. I am going to buy the book on amazon as soon as I can. Are there any other plans in the future for more interviews with other people? It was awesome running in the Florida heat listening to your interview. The time flew by. Any chance you can get Dean Karnazes on your show? That guy is insane. By the way, I made your recipe for the mango rum smoothie for me and my wife. It was friggin good brother. Your show kicks ass. Thanks. Jaydog

When: Starting NOW! This is an ongoing contest that will be every month, or until every person on the planet has nice, fresh smelling shoes!
Why: Because Stuffitts are awesome! The folks at Stuffitts are being SUPER generous and I also want to give you guys something that I think is a great addition to any athletes arsenal!
How: On the last podcast episode post of each month (example: Episode 99 on June 28 HERE) entrants should leave a comment (however long you'd like). On the following week's show (the first show of each month) I will draw, by random number generator, one winner! That's it!

AWESOME job man. Truely, truely excellent interview for your 50th episode. Can't even figure how managed to align the stars and pull it off.
I'm even inspired to take off my Brooks and try this damn technique …
Great job, great job
