At least you did not ride over any toads like I did last week. Those little guys are always all over the place. Every time I go for my bike ride in the morning I see armadillos, raccoons, frogs and toads. I even saw a fox and an owl. There is nothing better than being on your bike outside under the blue sky, breathing in fresh air with animals all around you. Oh wait, you live in NY there is no fresh air in Manhattan. I yelled "Stay" because I really didn't want to get into a wreck due to her crossing in front of me. We just looked at each other as I rode past. The deer didn't seem to care much for me but at least she stayed still.
