This podcast tops all others. Congratulations on your great accomplishment. You are such a great story teller. Your listeners are able to picture everything in complete detail. And, of course, the presence of Mrs. Wood made this podcast twice as good! I like the extra length of this week's podcast….it is good for two day's worth of runs!
Congrats again on your tremendous accomplishment! Funny how Danielle giggles when she's on your show but can sing in front of hundreds of people with no problem.
Hey Brandon, just finished listening to your epic podcast and thoroughly enjoyed it! Although it’s hard for me to relate at parts because, as you know, I am not a triathlete, but I still found your journey very inspiring nonetheless. Respect and admiration do not begin to describe my sentiments but let’s leave it at that or else I’ll run out of superlatives for the next time around! Congratulations Ironman Brandon on your tremendous accomplishment.
Wished I could have caught up with you after the Queens Half to see what a spanking new Ironman looks like! It’s too bad that the craziness of race morning caused by shuttle bus chaos threw a complete wrench into the whole thing. I had a pretty good race but I’m interested to hear about your experience running that race despite a late start on the next podcast!
One more thing. I think you should apply to sing the national anthem for one of our NYRR races! Maybe they’ll let you use that to fulfill your volunteer requirement for marathon entry. That would be so neat. Look into that.
Take care. Sorry for my rambling thoughts and the long comment.
Thanks so much for visiting my site! My name is Brandon Wood and I am the social media manager and a customer service rep for Newton Running. This site and podcast follow my adventures on the way to competing in and training for all kinds of endurance events, especially triathlon and running. Click the "About Me" tab for more info!
When: Starting NOW! This is an ongoing contest that will be every month, or until every person on the planet has nice, fresh smelling shoes!
Why: Because Stuffitts are awesome! The folks at Stuffitts are being SUPER generous and I also want to give you guys something that I think is a great addition to any athletes arsenal!
How: On the last podcast episode post of each month (example: Episode 99 on June 28 HERE) entrants should leave a comment (however long you'd like). On the following week's show (the first show of each month) I will draw, by random number generator, one winner! That's it!
Awesome AWESOME pic! An iron man with a big smile on his face – rock on dude!
