Active.com ran an article awhile ago about cyclists being covered under their car insurance under the uninsured motorist / underinsured motorist clause of their policy. Brandon, most renter’s insurance policies (or at least mine from Allstate) cover you and your property while you are traveling. Semantics being what they are, if you are not at home, and you are not necessarily remaining in one place, you would indeed be traveling. It’s something to ponder.
