Brandon, I have signed up for a few races in 2010 most excited about the More half marathon on April 25th all run in Central Park. I know this is a long shot but I am hoping to PR. Also, Januray 9th is the Fred Lebow Classic 5 miler and February 28th the Al Gordon Snowflake 4 miler in Prospect Park.

Also, more exciting is I will be doing at least 2 duathlons March 28th is Central Park Run-2 mi. Bike-12 mi. Run-2 mi and Run-2 mi. And on April 11 Bike-10 mi. Run-2 mi in Prospect Park. I am not very sure of myself being able to complete these but I am sure going to try. If you could give me some good training advice Brandon, I would be forever grateful.

And thats all I got so far. I think that will keep me might busy!!!

My spring 2010 plans are taking shape. I just signed up for the Manhattan Half Marathon in Central Park on Jan. 24 which also happens to be the beginning of my 18 training cycle for the Pocono Mountain Run for the Red Marathon on May 16. What better way to kick off training for my spring marathon than with a winter half in the hill of New York's Central Park.

I'm not sure what the rest of the will bring. Possibly a fall marathon. Most importantly, I want to continue having fun.

Just started running, biking, and swimming about 4 months ago. Ran the Memphis half-marathon last weekend (first ever event of any kind) as part of my training for running the Little Rock marathon in March 2010. Will be doing a 15K in February as well. The rest of the year is kinda up in the air after the marathon. There are several sprint tri events that I might take a shot at as well. Having a great time with all the training and your podcast is a great source of encouragement and advice.

i already commented on twitter about how i think your 2010 tri schedule ROCKS if only because youre going to do one in maine!!! love it.
for my 2009 resolution i gave up eating potato chips. 21 more days... pretty sure im eating nachos for breakfast on 1/1/10!
and for 2010, i decided that instead of depriving myself of something i love, im going to do something that i love and take it to a level beyond what i have ever done before, while pushing myself harder than i thought possible.....

Dude this is totally the question that's plaguing me at the moment. I was going to be running in the 2010 Ragnar Wasatch Back Relay, but my spot on the team was given to two different people, so I'm an "alternate". Good news is I didn't pay for the slot yet, so I'm not committed there.

There's a century ride in March I'm considering, the St. George Marathon again in October, a plethora of triathlons I could try for, the famous LoToJa (pronounced Low-tow-Juh) Logan-to-Jackson Hole bike race in September, etc. etc. This last year I ran two marathons and did my first mini (really mini) tri. Don't know quite what to shoot for/focus on for 2010, and it's driving me nuts. I'm open to suggestions (from you or from your other listeners!)

2009 was a test year for me - to see if my body would hold up as I tried to get back into running. Fortunately it did, as I was able to run my first half marathon, along with a few shorter races. My goals for 2010 will be more ambitious. Yesterday I signed up for two half marathons and my first marathon. That (plus a 10k) will take me through May 15th (the date of the marathon). I'll probably run a fall marathon as well, and maybe even take a shot at an ultra if all goes well. I'm looking forward to next year, as I'm sure you are!

2010 is a big year you for me. I hope to qualify as a primary school teacher and start work in a job I actually love (its only taken 17 years). This is my main focus.

However, my April mararhon and my first ever ironman in Augsut are going to fill up what little spare time I have.

Its going to be a crazy 12 months but if all goes to plan, I will achieve so much.

Good luck to you in 2010. It is set to be life changing for you.
