I’m in the market for some new shoes and I’m seriously considering some Newton’s, but I’m torn about which model to get. I’ve tested all of them. Too hard of a decision!

  2. Jeff says:

Happy New year Brandon, I hope 2011 is better than 2010 for you.

Finally just bought some Stuffits…what a great product! Dry Newts! Much appreciated by us in the rainy NW. They also worked great on my bike shoes, which I had to wash after taking a spill into the mud. Totally dry the next day. I hope to win a pair to give to my better half for his running shoes. On a side note, thanks for the swim talk (episode 123, I believe). Keep it up! I would like to say to other runners – I found swimming depressingly hard at first, but after some coaching its a lot better. After 5 mos. I’ve noticed a definite difference in my hill running! I think its due to swimming’s affect on my lung capacity (?) Totally worth all the time in the pool! Happy New Year!

I want a new jacket and some stuffitz (or either one). Gonna tweet it too. :)

Happy 125th episode. I enjoyed hearing of your run through the snow. A run through many inches of snowfall is like adding extra miles to the run. Whether it be snow or ice, I stick to the Newton All Weather shoe. I’ve tried YakTrax etc.. but just hate wearing them. By slowing the pace and keeping a watch for ice spots, running in winter weather is possible. As for winter, it is not the snow or the ice or the temperature. It is the wind. I always enjoy your product reviews. Have a great new year.

Based on you recommendation, I just bought a Sugoi Firewall 220 jacket. That thing is no joke. I’ve worn it a few times already and it kept me nice and warm. Nothing gets through it.

I guess a shot at a second jacket never hurts. Enter me for the jacket and the stuffits.

Thanks for the shoutout on #125. I am loving my Terras. Happy New Year!

Hey Brandon, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.
As I set my sites on 2011 and getting my resolutions together, I think back to you and your goal of running a mile everyday. I will be honest with you I was not following you in that goal. I went back and looked and it seems that there are no posts after March 26th? I hope I am not bring up old wounds but what happened? I was thinking about trying that goal out myself, but instead I am going to commit to being active atleast 30 min every day. Be that running, biking or some other aerobic activity.
any way, I do enjoy your podcast and have learned some valuable information from you.
    keep up the good work.

    Jim
