Athletes are smarter. Score!
As most of us athletes know, we’re brilliant – not to mention devastatingly good looking, witty and generally amazing people. However, for those that don’t consider themselves to be athletes, it bears pointing out on the off chance that more people can join our ranks. In an article this week, Runner’s World lists “5 Ways Running Boosts Brain Power”. Among them, aging, memory and chemical advantages. I should point out that the 5 ways aren’t necessarily specific to runners but rather, athletes in general.
